ABOUT

  • What is Beer fest?
    • Canterbury Park Beer Fest includes the opportunity to sample a variety of beers and a day of live racing!
    • Participating breweries include a variety of the best specialty, craft, and seasonal beers available in Minnesota and national brands.
    • The festival will be held indoors in the Silks Lounge and also outdoors in the grandstand and surrounding areas on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Yes, live racing will coincide with this event!
    • One 8 foot table will be provided with your vendor space

DETAILS/TIMELINE

Canterbury Park is accepting applications for the Canterbury Park Beer Festival
Saturday, August 10, 2024.

Move in Hours: 2:00 pm-4:30 pm
Set up must be completed by 4:30 pm
Event Start Time: 5:00 pm
Event will end at 9:00 pm
Estimated Attendance: 1,000+

  • If selected as a vendor
    • Canterbury Park will pay each brewery a $250 stipend for its products. If you are able to provide a product at no charge we appreciate the promotional support. To receive stipend from Canterbury Park email an invoice for $250 to Jake Ruhland at jruhland@canterburypark.com
    • Invoices must be received by August 17th and will be paid 3 weeks following Beer Fest (August 31). Invoices received after August 17th will not be honored.

VENDOR INFORMATION

Terms & Conditions

All Vendors will list a detailed description of all items that they intend to sample at the Event. Canterbury Park reserves the right to restrict any items offered for sale. Items listed on permit cannot change without prior authorization.

Insurance Requirements

All applicable Vendors must submit proof of liability insurance listing Canterbury Park Holding as an "additional insured" to Canterbury Park, with ten (10) days written notice of any policy cancellation or material change in policy terms.

  • No Vendor will be permitted to set up if Canterbury Park has not received proof of liability insurance as herein described by application deadline, potentially without refund or compensation of any pre-payment(s) made.
  • All Vendors (unless specifically indicated) are required to carry commercial general liability insurance coverage on their activities/operations with a minimum of one million dollars ($ 1,000,000) combined single limits per occurrence and two million ($ 2,000,000) annual aggregate, insuring against claims for bodily injury and property damage.

Product Distribution

  • If you are having a distributor drop off product, please coordinate your order and delivery with your distributor.
  • Beer deliveries accepted from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, August 5th - August 10th at the loading dock (southwest corner of the building), products MUST be labeled clearly that they are for the Beer Fest event.
  • On event day, all reps and/or personal delivery vehicles must enter the event site through the Shire Square Gate, located just north of the Event Center

Load In

  • The lot is fully-enclosed and vehicles will only be permitted to enter from one gate. Vendors may unload materials on-site from vehicles, then park immediately in the main lot which offers FREE parking. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Upon arrival, you will receive two staff wristbands for each booth reserved
  • One 8 foot table will be provided for your space
  • BRING YOUR OWN CARTS, HAND TRUCKS OR DOLLEYS.
  • If you are bringing a branded tent, you may still set this up inside but please let us know if you plan to bring it so we can account for space in the floor plan.
  • Ice will be delivered to booths by 4:00pm. BRING YOUR OWN ICE TUBS

Prohibited Items

  • Do not bring confetti, balloons or stickers of any kind to the event. If you do, you will be billed for additional clean-up costs associated with removing these after the event.
  • Do not bring sampling cups (unless offering non-alcoholic products in your booth) - all attendees will be provided a sampling glass upon entry
  • Under no circumstance are vendors allowed to give out unopened product to event attendees

NOTE: Please carefully review the General Vendor Information on the Canterbury Website for terms, conditions, and regulations before filling out this application. For this event, we are only able to accept registered businesses. Privately prepared food items are not permitted.
