Bring the whole family to the track for a day packed with fun. Canterbury Park offers a clean, safe, and family-friendly atmosphere—plus kids five and under get in free.

Join us for Pepsi Family Day with fan favorites like face painting, pony rides, and Kids Race the Track after the final race. In between, explore the playground or hit the arcade for nonstop action. Kids can pick up free jockey trading cards on Sundays, meet the jockeys at special meet & greets, and even join the Junior Jockey Fan Club—free for kids 12 and under at the Info Booth. Make it a family day to remember.

Kids Zone Face Painting & Pony Rides

Add a little extra fun to your day at the track with two family favorites in the Kids Zone. Stop by for colorful face painting or hop on a pony ride for a classic racetrack experience the kids will love.

Face painting: 12pm - 4pm

Pony Rides: 12pm - 3:30pm

Tickets are $5 per activity and reservations are required. Tickets can be purchased at the Kids Zone through the Paddock Podium Attendant. Be sure to arrive early to reserve your preferred time, as spots fill up quickly.

Please note: Pony rides have a maximum weight limit of 75 lbs.
