Silent Auction Donation Requests

Canterbury Park is happy to support charitable organizations that make a positive impact on our community. Due to a high volume of requests we receive, the following guidelines must be followed in order to be eligible for a donation.

Request Eligibility

• 501c3 Non-profit organizations or other charitable organizations that benefit residents in the south-metro or twin cities area
• Requests must be for fundraising purposes only (ex. raffle, silent or live auction)
• Groups that support Diversity + equity, Horse Organizations, local non-profit organizations

Requests related to the following are ineligible to receive donations:

• Requests for operating expenses or other monetary donations
• Awards, prizes and incentive programs for profit
• Political groups
• Any organization that discriminates due to color, sex, nationality, or sexual orientation

Application Process

• For efficiency purposes, all donations requests must be submitted through the online application. Emails, phone calls, faxes and mailed submissions will no longer be accepted
• Requests must be received at least 6 weeks prior to the event
• Donations are limited to one request per organization each calendar year

Request Fulfillment

• Please understand that request fulfillment is not immediate. Charitable donation are done on a rolling basis and filled sequentially based on order of events.
• Submitting a request doesn’t guarantee a donation
• Donations will be emailed or mailed to the address provided
